STOCKY MIGRATION CHECKLIST =========================== Stocky is shutting down. Shopify delisted it from the App Store on Feb 2, 2026. The app and its API stop working entirely on August 31, 2026. This checklist gets you out before that date. DEADLINES --------- - Feb 2, 2026: Stocky delisted from the Shopify App Store. No new installs. - Now - Aug 2026: Stocky still works for existing users. Export everything you can. - Aug 31, 2026: Stocky and its API stop working entirely. Hard deadline. - Sep - ~Nov 2026: Shopify has said read-only export access continues ~90 days after shutdown. Treat this as a safety net only, not a plan. WHAT YOU CAN EXPORT NATIVELY FROM STOCKY ----------------------------------------- - Purchase orders (CSV, via the Stocky dashboard) - Stocktakes (CSV, via the Stocky dashboard) - Product & inventory levels (via Shopify admin export) WHAT STOCKY HAS NO EXPORT BUTTON FOR ------------------------------------- - Suppliers. There is no export button in the Stocky UI for supplier records. This is the data most merchants lose if they don't act before the API sunset. THE 10-STEP CHECKLIST ---------------------- [ ] 1. Export all purchase orders from Stocky (Purchase Orders -> export to CSV). Back up the file. [ ] 2. Export all stocktakes from Stocky (Stocktakes -> export). [ ] 3. Export your product and inventory data from Shopify admin (Products -> Export, Inventory -> Export). [ ] 4. Export your supplier list. Stocky has no supplier export button — use StockyLift or the Stocky supplier API directly. This is the step most merchants miss. [ ] 5. Choose your replacement inventory app. Trial at least two; confirm supplier import support. [ ] 6. Map your exported supplier fields to the destination app's import template. [ ] 7. Run a test import of 3-5 suppliers first. Verify names, emails, and addresses land correctly. [ ] 8. Run the full supplier import. Reconcile the imported count against your export. [ ] 9. Recreate any open purchase orders in your new app (Shopify does not import historical POs). [ ] 10. Store your exported CSV and JSON files permanently, in at least two locations. BOTTOM LINE ----------- Treat August 31, 2026 as the hard deadline. The ~90-day read-only window afterward is insurance, not a plan. --- StockyLift is an unofficial tool and is not affiliated with Shopify.
